Keep the kids busy this Summer

We know how it is, school lets out and you have a great summer planned with so many expectations of spending quality time with your children. Right now in the middle of summer you’ve probably exhausted your list and really, you can’t imagine spending a whole day driving to the scenic spot with your youngest asking “Are we there yet?“ for the last 3 hours of the trip.

Check out these parks local to you in Stirling-Rawdon, make memories with your children, and keep your sanity. You’re welcome.

Henry St. Park

The Henry St. Park has a pavilion and picnic tables, jungle gym, swing sets, basketball court, tennis court and lots of greenspace for running around! Their swing set also includes accessible swings. We loved the mini library system to borrow/donate books here too.

Woods Drive Park

The Woods Drive Park has lots of playground equipment over sand and swing sets, with some benches and shaded picnic tables.

Rodgers Drive Park

The Rodgers Drive Park is simple and grassy, and has the usual suspects in terms of play equipment. It has great scenery, with picturesque rolling hills. It seemed fairly quiet, so the picnic table may be the place for you to finally get into your summer read.

William Street Park

The William St. Park has lots of play equipment for your kids to spend their energy on! As well as a shaded picnic table and some greenspace so you can relax out of the sun.

The Edward Street park is great for impromptu tennis and baseball, Tee-ball or Softball.

Doug Andrews Memorial Park (Springbrook Park)

Along with the standard play equipment you’ve already seen on the rest of this list, The Doug Andrews Memorial Park has a sandbox, tennis courts, and a rink!
